The Impact of COVID-19 on the Mexican Economy (Dec 2020 – Feb 2021) involved analyzing the effects of the pandemic on employment in Mexico using a Shiny application. Working remotely with a team, I developed ARIMA time series models to forecast trends, analyzing the impact across different economic sectors (primary, secondary, tertiary) and income levels. The project highlighted which sectors and income groups were most affected and included analysis by business size. Results were presented through interactive visualizations in the Shiny app, along with a detailed report of the methodology and findings.
